Questions and answers

  • What is transformational drawing?

A way of drawing step by step. You draw free lines across a sheet, round off every place where they cross, and then color the shapes between them. The course goes through it in order, from the very first line to whole drawings and three themed algorithms.

  • Do I need to know how to draw?

No. The lessons begin with a single line, and nothing in the course asks you to draw anything recognizable.

  • What will I need?

Paper, a black pen or fine-liner, and a few markers or felt-tip pens. The lesson on tools goes through it in detail.

  • Can I try it for free?

Yes. The first module, “Getting started”, is open to everyone, without an account. What the subscription includes is on the subscription page.

  • How much does it cost?

The plans and their prices are on the subscription page, together with what is included and how the free days work.

  • Is this therapy?

No. Neurojournal is a drawing course and a private journal. It is not therapy, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace them. If you are unwell, speak to a qualified professional. The terms say the same in full.

  • Who can see my journal?

Only you. The photos of your drawings and your notes are kept in your account and are not shown to anybody else. In your account you can download a copy of your data or delete the account with everything in it. The privacy policy explains what is stored and where.

  • Which languages and devices?

The course is in English and Ukrainian: the Ukrainian site is at neurojournal.app/ua, and once you have an account, you choose the language in it. The site works in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer — you draw on paper and use the screen to read the lesson.

  • How do I cancel the subscription?

In your account, under “Manage subscription”. Access stays until the end of the period you have already paid for, or until the free days end.

  • Can I get a refund?

The conditions are in the refund policy.
